Clue In to Online Learning so you will be better prepared to be successful in a TXVSN course.</em></p><p><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TXVSN CLUE IN Orientation to Online Learning</span></p><p>A badge-based orientation to online learning which</p><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="color:black;">aims at acquainting the student and parent with </li><ul style="padding-left:2em;list-style-type:circle;"><li>the online instruction process,</li><li>possible technological tools used within an online course, and</li><li>basic online communication skills,</li></ul><li>let's students earn badges based on real world activities,</li><li>is flexible so the local district determines level of proficiency, and</li><li style="color:black;">is completed in 15 minutes for a Level 1 badge and more time if a student and or local district desires additionally earned higher level badges. </li></ul><table><tbody><tr data-role="resizable"><td data-role="resizable" style="width:38px;"><p><img alt="" src="../../../Images/ListAdd.png" /><span style="font-size:medium;"></span></p></td><td><p><em>Level 1:</em> In this collection of lessons the participant will unravel the unique characteristics of online courses along with an overview of the types of online courses that may be available. The participant will file a preliminary report of the basic understanding of the case for online learning and will designate the individuals to be notified of that report. </p></td></tr><tr data-role="resizable"><td data-role="resizable" style="width:38px;"><p><img alt="" src="../../../Images/waitList.png" /></p></td><td><p><em>Level 2:</em> In these lessons, the participant will crack the important skills needed to be successful in an online course. The participant will cover basic computer skills, communication protocols, and the heart and soul of many online courses &amp;amp;ndash; the discussion forum. </p></td></tr><tr data-role="resizable"><td data-role="resizable" style="width:38px;"><p>&nbsp;</p></td><td><p><em>Level 3:</em> During these lessons, the participant will theorize how they can get familiar with a new online course and start constructing an organizational system that will keep them successful.</p></td></tr><tr><td data-role="resizable" style="width:38px;"><p>&nbsp;</p></td><td><p><em>Level 4:</em> The participant has gathered all their evidence and are ready to file their final report. They will designate individuals, such as a guidance counselor and parent/guardian to be notified of their successful completion of all activities and levels of the TxVSN CLUE IN Orientation to Online Learning. </p></td></tr></tbody></table>
